「Coming Out Day 2024」的慶祝活動，Stadsmuseum Tongerlohuys 特此委託進行了本次展覽。該系列作品之所以被博物館選中，源於其緊迫的社會關聯性，這也體現在與 Art That Matters 基金會的合作之中。策展人將這些作品置於這個致力於多元化與能見度的展覽週期間，強調了 LGBTQ+ 認同的奮鬥並非邊緣議題，而是需要機構認可的核心敘事。本次展覽的出發點在於，必須為那些經常被邊緣化的故事提供一個安全、高尚的文化環境，並斷言青年同志的脆弱性是一個具有深遠藝術及社會重要性的主題。

ESTRANGED 融入博物館

作為 Coming Out Roosendaal 2024 的視覺核心，ESTRANGED 呈獻一系列嚴謹的肖像作品，記錄了 LGBTQ 位以上青少年對於自我探索的歷程。本次展覽共展出 23 件精心挑選的作品，描繪了年輕個體在深刻的孤寂感與堅毅之中。展覽於 Tongerlohuys 舉行，並透過專業活動進一步豐富，包括一場變裝化妝工作坊與晚間劇場合作，將靜態影像置於多元性別文化充滿生命力的慶典脈絡之中。此次展覽包含的 ESTRANGED 攝影集，讓參觀者能將這份敘事帶離美術館的空間，延伸了 Spannenburg 對於蛻變成獨立個體之脆弱之美的探索。
